Softie-but-mighty

Not everyone can turn softness into strength, but we all know someone who does. This person may be of warmth and grace, quietly powerful in their ways and this artwork is for someone who carries kindness in their hands and calm in their soul.

Gift this to them as a reminder that strength and softness can coexist.

A limited edition print by UK artist Stephen Doherty, who’s known for his evocative and exquisite drawings, paintings and prints of flowers in various stages of bloom and decay. He most recently did a beautiful flower printed clothing collection with COS.

His use of inks and fine brushes create flowers that look almost ethereally paper-thin upclose, like pressed flowers that have seeped into the paper…or like slow pooling ink blots that serendipitously turned out to look like petals…? Either way, it's mesmerising to look at.

I am selling the work to make space for newer works, and I hope that whoever chooses this will find as much joy as I found in it.

Purchased directly from the artist.
