Marzo is a Hong Kong painter, he studied in Spain and in France at Beaux Arts. His signature technique is the use of tar that gives a unique depth to the shades of brown and gold. I’ve known the artist personally, he is rebellious and fiercely independent. I think this shows in his work.

He paints dreamscapes and the result is always so surreal and subtle, I feel very drawn by the strangeness of it all.
