Working across oil, acrylic, ink, collage, and mixed media, his practice spans both abstraction and figuration while maintaining a strong emphasis on experimentation and reinvention. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan class=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eHaving spent more than five decades between Singapore and the United States, Wong absorbed the energy of the post-war New York art scene while retaining a deep connection to Chinese aesthetics and calligraphic traditions. Throughout his long career, he has returned repeatedly to recurring subjects such as the lotus, the nude, and the natural world, transforming them through a dynamic interplay of form, colour, and movement.
