This Chua Soo Kim’s globular is a thing of beauty indeed. We love how the marine blues and the terracotta reds meet where the sprig of seaweed gracefully drapes.

The artist told us that he had picked up seaweeds and flotsam by the banks of Margaret River, inspired by the beauty of Australia’s natural landscape in this series of his works.

Parting with this slip pot along with a few others in our collection is a sad necessity for two oldies moving into a smaller home.
