Eng Tow, Mass, 1988
Acrylic and ink on own handmade linen flax paper
42.5 x 56 cm (visible), 62 x 79 x 1.5 cm (framed)
Condition: Very Good, slight mould on glass cover of frame
-
I recall buying this piece from Eng Tow’s solo exhibition at Fort Canning in 1992. It is not one of her more well-known pleated textiles, but an earlier experimental work. I feel that the intricacies woven into the paperwork here had a deeper meaning for the artist.
