Jeremy Mann is best known for his gritty, atmospheric cityscapes, which he creates with a wide range of techniques including surface staining, and the use of ink brayers. Less well-known are his delicate, dynamic and equally atmospheric portraits and still-lifes, which combine a skill reminiscent of the old masters with a more contemporary muted palette.
This beautiful print, which features hand-distressed elements from the artist, was released in 2022 to raise funds in support of humanitarian aid for Ukraine in light of its invasion by Russia.
