-

The clenched fist releases, finally succumbing to nature—in this case, to death.

The red linear triangle symbolises the three aspects of time and also references the chemistry symbol for change. As the petals fall away and drift into space, they signify the passage of time. The limited palette reflects the remnants of a hot summer in full bloom, contrasted against the misty greens of dying winter vegetation.

Falling seeds rest just outside the painting, waiting to reemerge in spring from the dark abyss. This reemergence is echoed in the red flowers on the left of the spring painting, evoking a sense of temporal overabundance. Flowers bloom hurriedly, only to wither and die shortly after.

All the flowers originate from the thin green stem below, overwhelming the branch as they grow rapidly and die, foreshadowing the coming winter.
