I started my collecting journey 40 years ago with the purchase of several watercolor paintings by local artists. This Puay Hua watercolor was one such painting purchased from an art gallery in Orchard Road and it has been one of my favorite paintings that bring back fond memories, not only of my first artworks but also of the old Singapore scenes that have disappeared.
