Luong Dung (Vietnamese, b. 1966) is a painter of everyday life, capturing the essence of rural Vietnam with a refined color palette and textured brushwork. A graduate of the Fine Art University in Ho Chi Minh City in 1992, she uses a palette knife to create rippling surfaces in thick layers of paint, adding depth and movement to her compositions.
Acquired from Apricot Gallery in Ho Chi Minh City in 2006.
