Ming Zaw, Temple and Sky, 2003
Oil on canvas
76.5 x 76.5 x 2.5 cm (unframed)
Condition: Very Good
-
The piece was acquired from the artist when traveling to Yangon in Myanmar in 2004. It was a privilege to visit to the studio shared by Ming Zaw and Nyein Chan Su (a fellow Burmese painter, please see listing here: https://artagain.co/marketplace/p/nyein-chan-su-untitled) at the end of my trip and I could not resist this painting, I find it accurately portrays the atmosphere of vibrant serenity around the temples in Myanmar.
