We rushed to get this masterpiece of Mirek, not only because of his reputation ad NZ’s leading potter and artist, but also because this is a work that resonates with grace and strength under fire. We are crazy about art and also of art that tell of their creator’s driving passions.

Mirek is a treasured artist of NZ. His kilns ha been preserved as part of the country’s national heritage. He was also associated with the production of The Lord of the Rings, creating 700 pottery pieces for the trilogy.

Parting with it is an inevitability as we are moving into a smaller home.
