Pang Xuan, Magnolia (Top) & Mulberry Picking (Bottom), 2009

Condition: Good, slight indentation in the centre of the work on top, light accretion of dust on the surface of the works.
-
In 2011, I hosted Pang Xuan, an aspiring artist (b. 1978, Chinese) for an art exhibition in Singapore. A graduate from the Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts, she is now a well-respected teacher at Chongqing Normal University, Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts.
I love her creative and bold artwork drawing from solid Chinese painting traditions and with a dash of reality. I own several of her works and reluctantly part with these due to space limitations. These two paintings will brighten a commercial or residential space.
