Sim Lian Huat (b. 1953, Singapore) is a Singaporean artist trained at NAFA and the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he blended Western techniques with Eastern perspectives. Known for exploring themes of cyclical existence, balance, and the enigmatic nature of reality, his works draw from Daoist and Buddhist teachings alongside Greek mythology. A prolific artist and active member of groups like the Sculpture Society, Sim has been recognized for commissioned murals and exhibitions, including a 2004 retrospective at the MICA Artrium and his solo show “Spallation” in 2009.
