Vu Thuy (Vietnamese, b. 1971) was “born in territorial water but very much loved the mountainous regions of the country. When I was a student, I came to the mountain and lived with the minority people and their unique manner attracted me and helped me to compose alot of the artworks.” Vu Thuy is enchanted by the fine line between realism and the imaginary, the man-made and nature.
Acquired from Apricot Gallery in Ho Chi Minh City in 2006.
