This was purchased with another artwork by Vanessa Is There Life on Mars, when I brought my 4-month old son to visit Vanessa during her residency at Cuturi Gallery. I found myself drawn to some of Vanessa’s works which are darkly erotic yet at stark contrast with her sunny disposition. I do believe her works deserve a wider audience.
