  • Why us

Your art collection evolves—so should the market. Maybe your tastes have changed, maybe you're out of space, or maybe it's just time to let a piece move on. But for many, once art enters a private collection, it stays there—reselling art is difficult, and options are limited.

Art Again is changing this. We’re lowering the threshold to buying and selling art, bringing liquidity to the market, and giving collectors the autonomy to deal in art on their own terms. Whether you’re looking to pass on a piece to someone who will appreciate it next or searching for something special from a private collection, we make it meaningful, transparent, and accessible.

More than a marketplace, Art Again is a community and a resource, creating new possibilities for art enthusiasts. Make our secondary marketplace your first choice—again and again.

FAQs

  • Most sellers are open to negotiating, contact us to find out.

  • The core team is based out of Singapore. We have outpost teams located in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and London. All artworks may be shipped internationally.

  • We'll put you in touch with the seller. You and the seller will arrange for pick up / delivery of the artwork. We're able to help with delivery for a small fee. We use the best in the business, and we get great rates.

  • We use 4 main categories to differentiate the art on our marketplace.

    1. Painting - this includes art on canvas, cardboard, wood.
    2. Works on Paper - this includes art on paper, like ink, watercolour, collage. Print and photograph falls under "Editioned".
    3. Sculpture - this refers to your "3D art", such as ceramic pieces, metalwork.
    4. Editioned - this refers to art in multiples, like print and photography.

If you're unsure about whether what you have is appropriate for the marketplace, contact us.

  • To fulfil our ethos, we want to make it possible for sellers to list their artworks even if they may not have documentation or information on the artwork's provenance. We understand that authenticity may be a concern for some of you, and while we do not guarantee the authenticity of the artworks, we encourage and facilitate conversations between buyers and sellers. This ensures, as far as possible, that buyers have the information they need to proceed with a purchase.

  • Unfortunately not at the moment, Art Again is a secondary art marketplace.

  • Very good: artwork and frame exhibit minimal to no signs of mould, foxing, or damage.

Good: artwork and frame exhibit slight signs of wear, such as minor mould, foxing, or damage.

Fair: artwork and frame exhibit visible signs of wear, including noticeable mould, foxing, or damage.

If in doubt, write to us! We’re here to clarify the condition of the artwork. As the buyer, you are ultimately responsible for checking the condition of an artwork before making a purchase.

  • The primary market is where an artwork is sold for the first time, usually directly from the artist or through a gallery representing said artist. The secondary market refers to the resale of artworks that have already been sold at least once in the primary market, where artworks are first sold directly by artists or their representing galleries.

Pre-owned art refers to artworks that have changed hands at least once after their initial sale in the primary market. This means they are being resold by collectors, galleries, or institutions rather than directly from the artist. Such works enter the secondary market, where their provenance, condition, and market demand influence their value.

  • Use the links at the bottom of the artwork page under "Inquire", we’ll let the new owners know of your interest.
