Art Again tokonoma

Tokonoma (床の間) is a traditional alcove in Japanese homes or tea rooms, used to display art, calligraphy, pottery, or seasonal flower arrangements (ikebana). It offers a distilled moment of appreciation—unrushed, personal, intimate.
For our first art hang of the year, we present Art Again Tokonoma: Paintings · Pottery · Plants—a curated gathering of artworks from 3 private collections, never before seen on our marketplace.

Our shows sit somewhere in between the refinement of private galleries and the unpredictability of a junk shop; so come as you are, hang out with the community, and because we are a secondary marketplace, if the collector is willing, prices are negotiable.
Art Again tokonoma runs from 14 – 16 March at Tokonoma art gallery [map].

Set within the exhibition space of Art Again tokonoma, experience making art surrounded by a curation of artworks from 3 private collections.
