Victor Ang (Singaporean, b. 1967) is a Singaporean artist known for his innovative approaches to Chinese calligraphy and painting. Trained under masters like Liu Ming Chew and Chen Wen Hsi, he gained recognition in international exhibitions. In the 1990s, he pioneered the 'glass ink tube' technique, followed by the 'crushed paper writing' method in the 2000s. His works have been showcased globally, and in 2024, he was appointed Visiting Professor at the Japan International Art Research Institute. With over 25 years in the art scene, Ang continues to push the boundaries of traditional Chinese art.
