Yang Yang (born 1969 in Beijing) is a Chinese painter and printmaker. She graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in China before receiving sponsorship from the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Education to study in Moscow. In 1995, she earned a Master of Fine Art from the Painting Department of the Moscow National Academy. During the 1990s, Yang established a printmaking studio in Beijing that collaborated with leading contemporary artists in China to produce fine art prints. Alongside this work, she developed a personal artistic practice exploring the feminine form, the beauty of nature and spirituality. Her career encompasses training in China and Russia, collaborative print production and an individual practice centred on subjects that remain distinct from her work with other artists.
