Andrew Chua (Singaporean, b. 1949) sculpted from local Singaporean clay and fired at the traditional dragon kiln in Jalan Bahar to create these sculptural forms that resemble Nyonya women in their kebayas. Andrew completed his art education at the Baharuddin Vocational Institute in Singapore in 1972.
