Zaini Zainul (Malaysian, b.1964) is a multidisciplinary artist, architect, and designer whose practice spans painting, architecture, interior design, and exhibition-making. Trained in architecture at Washington University and Columbia University in the United States, his artistic approach reflects a strong sensitivity to space, structure, and visual composition, often combining formal design principles with expressive and contemporary imagery.

Alongside a distinguished international career in architecture and design, Zaini has remained active in the visual arts through exhibitions and the establishment of Z Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. His works demonstrate an interest in the relationship between art, design, and the built environment, resulting in compositions that balance creative expression with architectural discipline.
