Ardeshir Rostami (Iranian, b. 1970) is a multifaceted artist, cartoonist, architect, writer, and actor, known for his playful and imaginative approach to art. His works often carry a sense of mischief, seamlessly camouflaging women’s body parts into his landscapes.

Rostami’s pieces often employ subtle organic lines and light colour washes, producing a quiet optimism and layered meaning. His art invites both contemplation and surprise. This work invites audience to look beyond the soft strokes of the colour pencil on paper, and wonder at the landscape formed by mounts and curves, the small in your back, the inside of your elbow, blurring the boundaries between the human form and nature.
