Chand Chandramohan (Singaporean, b.1992) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans performance, collage, installation, and socially engaged art. Their work examines the varied forms and experiences of labour, employing satire, humour, and social commentary to question systems of work, care, and power. Through participatory and collaborative approaches, Chand explores how everyday actions and interpersonal relationships can become sites for critical reflection and collective agency.
Chand's recent practice has expanded to investigate themes of rest, self-care, and community care as acts of resistance and empowerment. Working across individual and collective projects, they challenge conventional understandings of productivity while creating spaces for dialogue, collaboration, and shared experience. Based in Singapore, Chand has participated in numerous exhibitions and residencies, including the Singapore Art Museum Artist Residency programme.
