Chi’s rendering of the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd depicts an idyllic afternoon along Queen Street, and skilfully captures the interplay of shadow and the intensity of the sunlight. The subject matter is also important as a historical record, as the building and surrounding areas have since changed due to renovations and urban development.
