Denise Jillian Tan (Singaporean, b. 1989) is an artist whose practice centres on painting and portraiture. She graduated with a degree in Fine Art from LASALLE College of the Arts and has developed a body of work that explores identity, the human psyche and the subtle expressions found in the human face and body. Her paintings often treat the canvas as a stage where reality is interpreted and reimagined through a personal and sometimes fantastical lens.

Denise has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in Singapore, including shows at The Arts House, ICA Gallery at LASALLE College of the Arts and Alliance Française de Singapour. She was nominated for the Sovereign Asian Art Prize in 2012 and recognised among the Top 20 Singapore artists that year. In addition to her studio practice, she teaches at LASALLE College of the Arts and runs The Fort Studios, an art studio focused on art education in Singapore.
