Fong Kim Seng (Malaysian, b. 1949) is a self-taught painter from Kedah, Malaysia, known for his vibrant depictions of nature and everyday life. His works often feature symbolic elements and keen observation of the natural world, capturing moments in time with vivid colour and expressive form. Over the years, Fong has exhibited widely, including a retrospective at NN Gallery in Kuala Lumpur in 2010, and has been recognised with awards such as third prize at the Kedah Fest Open Show and second prize at the Kontena Nasional Sdn Bhd Art Competition.
This painting hung in our office as a pair for the last 20 over years, watching us grow, guiding us every day and late nights with every milestone in between, it became a quiet witness to our partnership not just in business but in our love life. Even after retirement, it still hangs with grace. A piece of art with memory.
Acquired from Eagle Eye Gallery in 2003.
