Heman Chong (Singaporean, b. 1977) is a Singaporean artist, curator and writer whose multidisciplinary practice spans image, performance and text. His work is conceptually driven, often exploring how language, systems and everyday structures shape the way we understand the world. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and has since developed an internationally recognised practice.

Chong’s works frequently draw from literature, archives and speculative narratives, examining themes such as time, memory, geopolitics and the circulation of knowledge. Moving across mediums including installation, painting and publishing, his practice sits at the intersection of art and research. He has exhibited widely at major institutions and biennales worldwide, and his works are held in prominent public collections including the Singapore Art Museum and international institutions.
