    Heng Eow Lin (Malaysian, b.1946) is a Malaysian artist born in Kedah. He studied at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore under prominent artists including Georgette Chen, Lim Yew Kuan and Shi Xiangtuo, graduating in 1970. His practice spans painting, portraiture and sculpture, and he is known for his expressive approach to figures, nature and everyday subjects. He has also undertaken major public sculpture commissions, including works for the Malacca State Museum and other institutions.

    Heng has held more than 15 solo exhibitions in Malaysia and Singapore, including at the National Art Gallery, Singapore in 1977 and the Penang State Art Gallery in 1996. In 2015, Soka-Gakkai Malaysia presented a major retrospective, A Journey of 47 Years, celebrating his artistic career. His works are held in collections including the National Gallery Singapore and Penang State Art Gallery, and he has exhibited internationally across Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom.
