I Made Wiradana (b. 1968) is a contemporary Indonesian artist. His works utilise a myriad of mediums to evoke the belief that human culture and consciousness is intrinsically defined by the past, science, mysticism, religion and art.
Wiradana is particularly drawn to prehistoric cave paintings, and believes that prehistory has tremendous unseen power and beauty. This is portrayed through his caveman-like figures, often situated alongside animals and traditional Balinese folk motifs.
