Jay Ho (Singaporean, b.1997) is a contemporary painter whose practice explores natural phenomena, perception, and the relationship between humanity and the wider universe. Based between Singapore and Hamburg, he graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of East London.
Working through a process-driven approach, Ho embraces spontaneity, chance, and material experimentation to create paintings that investigate space, colour, light, and vision. His works often incorporate unconventional materials such as enamel paint and resin, reflecting his interest in transformation, balance, and the forces that shape both natural and imagined worlds. Through abstraction, he examines questions of existence, perception, and the unseen connections between the individual and the environment.
