Kayleigh Goh (Malaysian, b.1993) is a contemporary artist currently based in Melbourne whose practice explores the psychological and poetic associations of place, particularly ideas of home, rest, and healing. Working predominantly with cement and wood, she transforms materials commonly associated with urban construction and Brutalism into calm, contemplative compositions.

Goh is interested in the tension between hardness and warmth, using exposed wood alongside cement to create a balance between contrasting materials. Her geometric forms and architectural lines draw from the familiar visual language of the city, while challenging the idea that hard-edged, geometric forms cannot convey emotion. Through her material and spatial approach, Goh considers the city not simply as a built environment, but as a familiar space for reflection and emotional refuge.
