Lin Bao Ling (b. 1981, Taiwan) is noted for his "illuminated" night paintings, which gives the viewer a sense of longing to disappear into the ether. His works recall the impressionistic, swirling studies of light and darkness of the renown, late British artist William Turner.   

Lin is a graduate of  LaSalle College of Art, Singapore. He went on to receive a Master's of Fine Arts and a PhD. from the National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan. Lin currently lives and works in Taipei. His works are collected by highly notable private and corporate collections around the world.
