Loi Cai Xiang (Singaporean, b.1992) is a Singapore-based painter known for contemplative oil paintings that draw on the aesthetics of the Old Masters. His works use rich shadows, subdued lighting, and carefully composed scenes to explore themes of identity, existentialism, memory, and the unconscious mind.

Drawing from personal experiences and familiar urban environments, Loi often presents seemingly ordinary moments with a sense of stillness and introspection. His photographic approach to composition, combined with his refined realism and atmospheric use of light, gives everyday scenes a psychological quality. A graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, he received the Clifton Art Prize in 2016 and has exhibited in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Korea.
