Mouly (1918 - 2008) was a French painter, and after establishing his studio in the 40s, his work met critical acclaim and is today exhibited in major institutions around the world.

His work is characterised by vibrant use of colour and his unique interpretation of Cubism and Fauvism. His paintings often feature bold compositions that capture the essence of everyday life and landscapes, blending abstraction with representation in a visually captivating and emotionally resonant way.

I acquired this artwork from a dear friend. It currently sits in storage and I feel it is time, this beautiful piece deserves a new home.
