Margaret "Margie" Lau (Malaysian, b. unknown) is a Hong Kong-based artist known for her hyper-realistic paintings of snacks, which evoke nostalgic memories and comfort. Before becoming a full-time artist, she was an architect, a graduate of the University of Cambridge, and worked at Foster and Partners. Her work is exhibited internationally and focuses on creating lifelike, often large-scale, pieces that connect with viewers through relatable and familiar subjects.
