Patrick Reault (French, b. 1955) is a contemporary painter who first started his career in acting and music in Clermont-Ferrand. He transitioned to painting in the early 1980s. As a self-taught artist, he began by selling watercolours on the docks of Marseille’s old pot before moving to Paris. While his first medium was watercolours, he started using oils and then favoured acrylics, allowing his more freedom in creating his vibrant landscapes.

Result has exhibited his artworks in Asia, the United States, and France, with his first private show taking place in Marseille in 1982, marking a significant moment in his career. In 1982 to 1988, he participated in group exhibitions across France, including cities such as Paris, Honfleur, and Cassis. Since then, he has expanded his reach by exhibiting internationally in cities like Hong Kong, Geneva, Tokyo, and Singapore. In September 2024, he showcased his work at the Chapelle du Crucifix as part of the 18th edition of “Art au gre des chapelles,” featuring 21 artists in a circuit of chapel exhibitions.
