Ronald Ventura (Filipino, b. 1973) is a Filipino contemporary artist known for his highly layered paintings, sculptures and installations. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas and has become one of the most recognised figures in Southeast Asian contemporary art. His works combine elements of hyperrealism, graffiti, cartoons and popular culture, creating visually dense compositions that reflect the layered cultural identity of the Philippines.

Ventura’s practice frequently merges human, animal and fantastical imagery, exploring themes of identity, history, mythology and social transformation. Through intricate layering and shifting visual styles, his works blur the boundaries between high and low culture, Eastern and Western influences, and reality and fiction. He has exhibited internationally at major museums and galleries, including the NUS Museum, Museo delle Culture in Lugano and the Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei.
