Ruben Pang (Singaporean, b.1990) is a contemporary painter known for his expressive, layered works that sit between abstraction and figuration. Working primarily in oil and mixed media on aluminium panels, he builds dense, atmospheric compositions through repeated layering, erasing, and reworking of paint, creating imagery that feels fluid, psychological, and constantly in transformation. His practice often explores the human condition through distorted forms, colour intensity, and a sense of internal movement.

A graduate of LASALLE College of the Arts, Pang has exhibited widely across Asia and Europe, developing a strong international presence early in his career. His works are recognised for their emotional intensity and process-driven approach, where each painting becomes a record of intuition, conflict, and resolution unfolding on the surface.
