Sam Lo (Singaporean, b.1986), also known by the moniker SKL0, is a contemporary visual artist who began as a street artist, first gaining attention through bold public interventions that questioned everyday urban life. Known for vibrant colours, layered imagery, and a mix of illustration, mural, and installation work, their practice often reflects on society, identity, and how people interact with the built environment.
Over time, Sam has expanded from street-based work into large-scale murals, gallery exhibitions, and international commissions, while maintaining a strong focus on storytelling and social commentary. Their works combine playful visual language with critical observation, making them a key figure in Singapore’s contemporary urban art scene.
