Suzann Victor (Singaporean, b. 1959) is a contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans installation, performance and painting. She studied at LASALLE College of the Arts before completing her BA, MA and PhD at the University of Western Sydney, and is currently based in Sydney.

Victor is best known for her large-scale, immersive works that explore perception, the body and the relationship between space and architecture. Using materials such as light, water, kinetic elements and readymade objects, she creates environments that engage the viewer physically and sensorially. A key figure in Singapore’s contemporary art scene, she was the concept developer of the artist-run initiative 5th Passage and the first female artist to represent Singapore at the Venice Biennale in 2001.

Acquired from STPI at Art Stage Singapore in 2015.
