Tee Kai Yin (b. 1973, Singapore) is a prominent visual artist whose works explore the instability and fragility of modern society. A graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (1993), Tee has received accolades such as the Most Promising Young Artist at the 1991 UOB Painting of the Year Competition and the Juror's Choice award at the 1996 Philip Morris ASEAN Art Awards. His predominantly monochromatic works feature energetic, childlike lines and graffiti-like gestures, creating a dynamic interplay of depth and flatness that invites reflection on societal flaws and complexities.
