Thaworn Merurat (Thai) was born in Phatthalung, Thailand. He studied art education at Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, graduating in 1997. Since 2005, he has run the Phuket Watercolour Gallery and Art School, offering classes for both children and adults.

In 2007, he began teaching at Ban Laem Sai School as part of its ongoing Art Thursdays project, where he continues to contribute as an art teacher. Thaworn exhibits his work locally within Thailand, with shows in Phuket, Bangkok, Pattani, and Chiang Mai.
