Not much of a story really. We bought this work in 2011 in Hanoi, the artist is 85-year old Vietnamese impressionist master Van Tho. We fell in love with his bold use of colour and broad textured strokes. Very sad to let this piece go, we’ve run out of space in our apartment and the restaurant environment is not exactly conducive.
