Vincent Leow (Singaporean, b.1961) is a contemporary artist, educator and cultural organiser recognised for his contributions to Singapore’s alternative art scene. He graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from LASALLE College of the Arts in 1987, followed by a Master of Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1991 and a Doctorate in Fine Art from RMIT University in 2005. His multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, performance, printmaking and mixed media, often drawing on popular culture, politics, literature and mass media.

Leow’s work frequently challenges artistic conventions through provocative imagery, humour and unconventional materials, exploring social issues, cultural identity and the role of art in society. He was an early member of The Artists Village, co-founded the artist-run space Utopia and established Plastique Kinetic Worms. He represented Singapore at the Venice Biennale in 2007 and received the Cultural Medallion in 2020 for his contributions to the visual arts. His works are held in collections including the Singapore Art Museum and Fukuoka Art Museum.
