Wee Shoo Leong (Singaporean, b. 1958) is a graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, he is best known for his meticulous oil paintings that capture still-life subjects such as ceramic vessels, fruits, and flowers with elegance and precision. His compositions often feature carefully balanced arrangements set against minimal backgrounds, evoking a sense of calm and timelessness.

Over the decades, Wee has become a leading figure in Singapore’s realist and still-life traditions. He won the UOB Painting of the Year Award in 1984 and was the recipient of the First Commonwealth Foundation Fellowship in London. His works, exhibited widely in Singapore and abroad, are celebrated for their technical mastery and contemplative beauty that elevate everyday objects into meditations on form, light, and serenity.
